Anton Banko Award
for Excellence in Teaching
Elementary Science
The Anton Banko Award for Excellence in Teaching Elementary Science recognizes an educator
teaching in grades K-5 who is an outstanding teacher of science. The Banko Award covers expenses
to attend the New Jersey Science Convention (up to $1000) and $2000 to purchase science supplies
at the teacher’s discretion.
